Since I'm late to the Dig Co-Lab project, I hope you don't mind if I pose a question for my first post. Increasingly, the majority of our students are coming into our classes with strong digital literacy skills. However, there still is a significant minority of ESL students who lack the digital literacy basics to participate in the wealth of digital learning activities we'd like to organize for our classes.
How can we make sure that all students have digital literacy skills without taking class time to go over things that the majority of students already know how to do?
What are the digital literacy basics that every student should have?
Look forward to interacting with you all.
